After deciding to get married down south, we went with Monique, as we heard wonderful things from a co-worker that used her to plan their destination wedding. Monique was very pleasant to deal with, from meeting her up until the end.
She helped us pick the location and resort, as she has lots of experience, whether it’s helping other couples plan their weddings or having travelled to resorts herself. We had about 30 people that were travelling from different locations, all of which had nothing but good things to say about Monique. Everything was going smoothly until the coronavirus hit.
Even through those uncertain times, Monique reassured everyone that she was going to do everything she could to make sure we were taken care of. We had to postpone the wedding to the following year, which Monique rebooked for everyone. When the second date came, still being in the heart of the pandemic, we ultimately had to cancel our wedding. A lot of people hadn’t purchased insurance, and not knowing whether everyone would get a credit or refund, really stressed us out. But once again, Monique reassured us that she would fight to get everyone a refund. After months of uncertainty, we found out everyone would get refunds. Monique worked very hard, spending endless hours on the phone with our family, friends and the resort. Despite not getting the wedding of our dreams, we really enjoyed working with Monique and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to book their destination wedding or any trip! We can’t wait to plan another trip with her.
